Description
The PonTOM® Klassik 5.0 A is an open aluminum catamaran built at the Kiebitzberg® shipyard in Havelberg and configured as a work platform for divers, hydraulic engineering, surveying, and maintenance work. 5.00 m hull length, 2.40 m wide, with a 4.70 x 2.10 m open work deck in between, free of trip hazards.
Two floats made of seawater-resistant aluminum with watertight welded bulkheads support the OpenG® frame. Railings, storage lockers, the helm station, and the diving ladder are clamped to the frame profile and can be repositioned or removed as needed for the application. A fender strip protects quay walls and sheet pile walls.
The boat is electrically powered, ranging from a tiller-steered motor for calm waters to a 6-kW outboard with a helm station. We build other lengths and widths upon request; its smaller sister model is the Klassik 4.0 A.

- OpenG® frame with a straight bow section and cross members, permanently welded to the floats
- Decking: FRP grating, 38 x 38 mm, finely sanded (alternatively, Graepel universal grating with plank-like appearance)
- Motor mount for up to 15 kW / 20 PS, 4 cleats
- Railing made of 40-mm round tubing, removable, with access step
- CE certification, general plan, manual, test drive, and acceptance inspection in Havelberg
