300 visitors in 3 hours, 20 exhibitors on the subject of „Events & Weddings“, a fashion show for festive outfits, live music, 6 hotel tours through the main building of the new hotel in Havelberg. This is how the 1st public site inspection at the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® last Sunday can be briefly summarized.
On Sunday, January 22, 2012, 2 - 5 p.m., the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® invited all interested parties to the 1st public site inspection at the new hotel in Havelberg. Around 300 visitors responded to the call „See today where you celebrate tomorrow!“ and had the new venue in Havelberg for private celebrations (weddings, anniversaries, school enrolments, etc.) and corporate events (conferences, lectures, Christmas parties, etc.). „We will also be organizing our own cultural events such as concerts or readings,“ said the head of the Kiebitzberg® solid surface production Florian Lewerken looks to the not-so-distant future as he welcomes guests at around 3.00 pm. Because the ArtHotel main building is already opening in Summer 2012. Following the opening, the Schlosstraßenlädchen from Sandau presented new fashion trends for festive outfits, accompanied by live music and many curious glances.
ArtHotel main building with large hall and suites with sauna
Architects Michael Wege and Göran Fenn gave visitors to the ArtHotel a tour of the new main building every 30 minutes. There was great interest in the new Hall in the ArtHotel, in which from summer 2012 Private parties, public events and corporate events for up to 250 people will take place. „With a mobile stage, flexible walls, a conservatory with large windows and a view of nature, a bar and restaurant, the ArtHotel is ideally equipped to establish itself as a new event venue in the Altmark and Prignitz region,“ said architect Michael Wege, explaining the conversion concept of the former Schmokenberg into the ArtHotel. No less interesting was the presentation of the Suites with sauna in the room and the wellness and beauty area on the top floor.

Marriage in Havelberg - on and by the water
„Word has spread faster than we can build that Havelberg will soon have a new venue for parties and celebrations,“ is the impression of ArtHotel receptionist Birka Müller, who is already planning two weddings with her team for June / July 2012. And that the ArtHotel bridal suite and the Wedding raft PonTOM® Cabrio 14 were among the crowd-pullers, she is not surprised, because a Wedding ceremony on the water is something very special. The PonTOM® is the new 14th official registry office branch in the district of Stendal and promises the „wedding adventure“ in the truest sense of the word. About the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® construction project, Havelberg
In August 2007, Kiebitzberg® managing directors Renate and Andreas Lewerken bought the former Schmokenberg Hotel, whose origins date back to 1852. The hotel, which was in dire need of renovation at the time, has been completely rebuilt and modernized since autumn 2010. After completion of the first construction phase, the ArtHotel guest house with 17 individual rooms at 4-star level was opened in August 2011. The ArtHotel main building will open in summer 2012 with additional rooms, a hall for up to 250 people, a conservatory, bar and restaurant. Directly on the Havel and yet close to the city center.
