The ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® invites you to the first public tour of the construction site, including an exhibition on the subject of „Parties & Events“. In summer 2012, Havelberg and the surrounding area will have a new location for private and public parties, celebrations and events with space for up to 250 people.
After the ArtHotel guest house with 17 rooms was opened last year and has since successfully established itself as a new Havelberg Hotel established, the next Kiebitzberg® construction project is already in full swing. In the Summer 2012 opens the ArtHotel main building with a further 26 rooms and a Room for up to 250 people, where weddings, celebrations, conferences and various cultural events can be held.

Some of our partners will be on site to present a wide range of options, interesting services and products for events and functions: „Whether decorations, gifts, jewelry or fireworks - we will present our future customers with the perfect setting for their festivities,“ explains Renate Lewerken, Managing Director of the family-run Kiebitzberg® Group in Havelberg. „In future, the new hall in the main building with space for up to 250 people will be available for weddings, celebrations or conferences.“
Havelberg Hotel in transition: From Schmokenberg to ArtHotel
The hotel known here in the region as the „Schmokenberg“ - the constructionorigins go to 1852 was completely rebuilt, modernized and extended with a main building with a basement.
„The Combination of the old and new parts of the building creates a harmonious ensemble and forms the future ArtHotel main building with a further 26 rooms and suites,“ explains Andreas Lewerken, Managing Director of the Kiebitzberg® Group. The new cellar was connected to the existing historic vaulted cellar which is being carefully prepared for future use. The basement is given a additional kitchen area. However, the main kitchen will be located on the first floor. The new building was also Two full storeys and an attic storey was added. Towards the Havel, an extension was added to the side of the existing hall. Free-floating conservatory was added as a gastronomic area.
The main building is a completely new construction: „All we have integrated from the former Schmokenberg Hotel are the historic cellar vaults as well as the former hall and the floor above with guest rooms. The hall and the floor were completely renovated and optimized for today's standards. The entire building ensemble is a completely different look after completion own. In future, central access will be via the newly created foyer. Balconies, roof terraces, dormers and a new roof covering complete the new look,“ says Renate Lewerken.
