The current situation in the country has us all under its spell. Like you, we are watching the spread of the corona pandemic with concern and support the government's measures to contain it. For this reason, the following measures have been taken at Kiebitzberg®:

• Suspension of all supplier appointments
• Customer appointments only by telephone or via multimedia channels such as Skype
• Distance regulations for breakfast & lunch breaks
• Material transfer points
• Contingency plans for home office work of the AV, if required (partly already in force)

Our sales and work preparation departments can carry out most of their activities from different locations. Production is currently running without restrictions. We will evaluate additional steps in the coming week to further minimize the risk of infection. For example, we are currently evaluating shift work schedules to further isolate the workforce & suppliers from each other.

In times like these, we see that there are advantages to not just being dependent on „just-in-time“ supply chains. For many of our larger projects, we have material in stock for the next few weeks so that we can continue to manufacture for you even in the event of supply bottlenecks or stoppages.
