The ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® in Havelberg is hosting an „Open Day“ for the whole family on Friday, September 21, 2012, from 10.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. at Schönberger Weg 6. Visitors will be offered a varied and exciting program of entertainment - with the Köstritzer Jazzband and show barkeeping - and information about the new hotel with wellness suites during guided tours. There will also be culinary delights at barbecue and cake stands and in the evening in the new restaurant (name unveiling at 4 p.m.), a competition, bouncy castle and much more.

Almost exactly one year after the opening of the guest house with 17 rooms, the public will be able to visit the 21.09.2012 the elaborately rebuilt and extended Main house with wellness rooms (sauna or heated cabin), conservatory and restaurant. Andreas and Renate Lewerken, builders and hotel operators, and their team will be giving guests the opportunity to moderated hotel tours revealing glimpses behind the scenes of the major project. „This is - strictly speaking Kiebitzberg® you can touch. Because in the hotel, all the trades of our group of companies are interlinked and intertwine: planning, conception, interior design, furniture construction, solid surface processing and various metal works,“ says Andreas Lewerken, founder and managing director of the Kiebitzberg® Group, which has been successful for 27 years.

A highlight: the name of the restaurant is unveiled

Visitors can find out about the wide range of products and services on offer at the information stands. Options for celebrations and conferences at the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® inform. At the same time, you can find out more about the Products and services of the Kiebitzberg® Group. The conservatory and terrace with a cozy beer garden offer space for a total of around 80 guests. Since August 23, 2012, you can enjoy a little culinary break here every day from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. above the rooftops of the city with a view of the Havel meadows or the park. And on September 21, when the Main restaurant opens, There are a further 40 places available. The child needs a name? That's right! The official „naming ceremony“ of the restaurant takes place at 16:00 takes place.

Entertainment for the whole family

For the musical entertainment is the Köstritzer Jazzband from 16:30 responsible; in addition, a Berlin show bartender will be demonstrating his skills at the bar in the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® until 17:00. About the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® Havelberg

The structural origins of the building extend into the 18th century back. The weaver Johann Joachim Schmok from Nitzow erected a weaving mill on the site at Schönberger Weg 6 in Havelberg. Damask factory. In the middle of the 19th century, the ice cellar, which is still preserved today, was built into the slope of the vineyard.

On August 7, 2007, the founders and managing directors of the Kiebitzberg® Group in Havelberg, Renate and Andreas Lewerken, bought the property with a hotel called Schmokenberg on it, which was in need of renovation at the time. The Havel as an element of peace and relaxation, a hotel as a place of encounter - these were the visions that began in the Fall 2010 the first construction measures. Less than a year later, after extensive renovation and modernization measures, the first phase of the major construction project was completed. The ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® guest house opened on August 15. With Opening of the complete restaurant operation on September 21, 2012 Lewerkens have breathed new gastronomic life into the traditional restaurant location.

The ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® offers ideal conditions for active travelers: Hikers, water lovers, cyclists, culture lovers, art lovers and anyone who would like to have more space to relax. All year round. After interesting days between culture and nature, the ArtHotel in Havelberg invites you to relax with 45 comfortable rooms, The hotel is located in the middle of a charming park and invites you to rest and relax. Each room has its own special touch: from double rooms to studios with an eat-in kitchen or suites with integrated wellness zones (e.g. sauna or heat cabin in the room). The latter is available from September 2012, if the Main building with restaurant, bar, conservatory and hall for up to 250 people opened. The guest house with 17 rooms has been welcoming its guests since August 2011. Many of the rooms offer extra beds, all are equipped with shower / bathtub / WC / Sat TV / W-Lan / telephone and minibar. All rooms have a balcony / terrace with an unobstructed view of the Havel meadows or the park.

The cathedral and island town of Havelberg is considered the Cradle of the Prignitz. The idyllic Hanseatic city is located in the green north-east of Germany on the „Romanesque Road“.
