Website Kiebitzberg furniture workshops

Build with Care.

Fancy a fresh start in a company that really lives and breathes technology, team spirit and quality?

If you have to make compromises too often in your current job - in terms of equipment, cooperation or appreciation - then it's worth taking a look at us.
Kiebitzberg creates high-quality interior fittings and customized furniture for exciting customers: Medical practices, private facilities and the interior design of cruise ships and yachts.

We are looking for reinforcement for our work preparation department: a person who likes to design, think along and actively help make the implementation in the workshop possible.

Your tasks with us

As part of work preparation, you are a central interface between ideas, design and production:

  • Construction & technical drawings in creative furniture and interior design
  • Creating and maintaining production-ready documents (drawings, parts lists, details)
  • Preparation for CNC production in coordination with the workshop and CAM
  • Thinking along with solution details, material structure, fittings and feasibility
  • Close cooperation with the workshop and sales staff implementing the project - short paths, clear communication
  • Optional (depending on experience): Support with design work / visualization

What you can expect technically (and why it's fun)

Our production is modern and efficiently equipped - you don't plan „in the blue“, but for a workshop that can implement:

  • Various 4-5 axis CNC machining centers, automatic panel storage system
  • HOMAG panel dividing saw (top-level panel dividing)
  • Modern veneer and lacquering technology
  • Solid wood processing
  • Upholstery
  • In-house production for solid surface products: such as Corian (R) and HI-MACS (R)

Software we work with:

  • IMOS (construction)
  • CAM: B+Solid
  • SketchUp (design/visualization)

What you should bring with you

We are not looking for a „perfect template“, but for people who work cleanly and have a desire for quality.

  • Good if you bring that with you:
  • Knowledge of furniture making / interior design or construction
  • Technical understanding and enjoyment of well thought-out solutions
  • Diligence, structure and ability to work in a team

Also welcome: Career changers
If you come from a related field (e.g. wood technology, carpentry, metal/interior design, product design, technical drawing) and would like to familiarize yourself with the subject, we would love to hear from you. The most important thing is your willingness to learn new things.

What we offer you

  • We are convinced that effort and work should be worthwhile - this principle is part of our DNA.
  • Exciting, high-quality projects (medical practices, private, ships/yachts)
  • State-of-the-art production technology and a professional workflow
  • Very good working atmosphere - with a positive error culture: mistakes are solved, not „punished“
  • Many long-standing employees - because cooperation and reliability count for us
  • Regular further training and team training
  • Part-time agreements possible - together we will find a model that suits you
  • A team that is passionate about carpentry and enjoys working with demanding customers
