On Wednesday, April 1, 2015, the Kiebitzberg® Group celebrated its 30th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Managing Directors Andreas and Renate Lewerken hosted a festive reception at the company's own ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® in Havelberg. Starting at 2 p.m., the hosts welcomed all employees from the furniture, metal and shipbuilding, solid surface materials, hotel and catering sectors as well as business partners, companions, friends and family in the banquet hall of the ArtHotel. Over coffee, champagne and cake, the guests got into the mood for an enjoyable afternoon. The musical backdrop was provided by Anna Margolina & Band from Berlin, who demonstrated the successful fusion of pop and jazz with their performance and created a feel-good atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

After the initial exchange between colleagues, acquaintances and friends, the official part of the event began. In a screen-filling projector presentation, the management reviewed the last thirty years. From the beginnings with didactic „wooden toys from Kiebitzberg“ to today's Kiebitzberg® Group, the rapid development of the company could be followed with the help of historical pictures and countless anecdotes. Employees also had their say and shared their personal history with Kiebitzberg® with those present.

In addition to the lively and memorable presentation, managing directors Renate and Andreas Lewerken published a special edition of Kiebitznews, which takes an in-depth look at the company's history. The shared recollection of the almost dizzying history of the company's development led to many stimulating conversations among the guests and organizers and aroused curiosity about the coming years of the company. Finally, the ArtHotel's kitchen team presented its skills with a lovingly prepared buffet of appetizers, with decorations themed to the company: in addition to historical and modern tools, curly wood shavings adorned the table, which could easily be mistaken for a delicacy of the house among all the other delicacies. In a relaxed atmosphere, many guests enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel, the conversations with hosts, colleagues and friends and the friendly service of the competent hotel team well into the night. Those who couldn't find their way home drunk from all the impressions were able to spend the night at the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® and start the new day from there. A successful party has now also become part of the company's history - but at the same time it is also the starting point for writing further history. Because just as the „Kiebitze“ celebrate, they can also work and will not be slowed down. The next thirty years can be eagerly awaited.
