Explore the Havel free of charge in the brand new PonTOM® Cabrio 14, be the first to see the new passenger ship for Kazakhstan, view the construction of the railroad car bridge and find out about the progress of the construction of the new Arthotel Kiebitzberg - all this is possible at the Kiebitzberg® Group's Open Day on May 14. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., the doors and gates of the Kiebitzberg® Group site will be open to guests and visitors. A special highlight of the day will be the christening of one of the eleven new Adventure 7.40 residential rafts for the Potsdam-based company Havelmeer. In addition to the presentation of the boats, it will also be „Cast off“ and „Raft ahoy“ for the PonTOM® 1400 from 11 a.m. „Every 30 minutes there will be free test drives on the Havel for eleven people at a time,“ explains Andreas Lewerken, Managing Director of the company. „You should take advantage of this opportunity, because in normal operation the PonTOM® charter with skipper costs from 80 euros for two hours. For those interested, the Kiebitzberg House Fair offers a boat show and a used boat market where Lettmann boats, the Havel barge and the mahogany boat can be admired and purchased. Guests of all ages can try out the company's own canoe and paddle on the Havel. The in-house exhibition also invites visitors to take a guided tour of the solid surface production facility, the shipyard and the furniture workshops, including the kitchen studio. In the open workshops, employees will show how products „Made in Havelberg“ are created. Guests can also view the „Astana II“ before the passenger ship under construction for Kazakhstan sets sail in eight weeks„ time. Two other complex projects can be viewed exclusively by visitors to the open day: a historic railroad carriage that is being converted into a bridge for the company “Zeitfracht Logistik" near Frankfurt am Main and will connect two buildings in future.
