WTM London 2012 WTM London 2012

November 07, 2012, Kiebitzberg® Möbelwerkstätten, Havelberg

„The WTM in London from November 5 to 8, 2012 will be the last major event of the 2012 trade fair year,“ says Thomas Franke, Operations Manager of Kiebitzberg® Möbelwerkstätten, looking forward to the end of a successful year of trade fair construction for the Havelberg-based joinery. But before the trade fair is after the trade fair and „with the Green Week at the end of January 2013, the next major project is already in the pipeline for us. Negotiations are already underway.“

Since 2001, the volume of trade fair construction orders at Kiebitzberg® has increased continuously. The absolute highlight of the year was the International Consumer Electronics Fair (IFA) from August 31 to September 5, 2012 in Berlin. Here the team was responsible for the Complete stand construction in 2.5 exhibition halls responsible. At the World Travel Market (WTM) 2012, the Kiebitzberg® Joinery three stands this year:

  •  Peru: approx. 300m² stand construction (partial), incl. counter
  • Philippines: approx. 150m² stand construction, incl. counter
  • Armenia: 55m² stand construction

For Dennis Theiß, responsible for the coordination and implementation of the trade fair construction projects on site, this meant virtually going straight from Berlin to London. His summary: „No matter which trade fair it is, exhibitors are increasingly trying to stand out from one another. Be it through special shapes and colors or lighting elements. The Exhibition stands are becoming increasingly high-quality and detailed. Materials such as acrylic glass, glass and LED have become indispensable. In any case, there can be no question of British understatement at the WTM.“
