IFA 2011, the world's largest and most important trade fair for consumer electronics, information and communication technology, took place for the 51st time in Berlin at the beginning of September. The new „IFA iZone“ exhibition area set up last year in Hall 15.1/16 was a crowd-puller. Kiebitzberg® Möbelwerkstätten in Havelberg was responsible for the stand construction for both exhibition halls.

For the Kiebitzberg® Möbelwerkstätten team, the IFA trade fair construction was one of the project highlights of 2011. „We impressed the Berlin trade fair organizers back in 2003 with good ideas for implementation, economically viable concepts, quality and reliability. However, IFA 2011 surpassed everything we have realized for Messe Berlin in the past eight years,“ sums up Thomas Franke, master carpenter and operations manager of Kiebitzberg® Möbelwerkstätten. Kiebitzberg® founder and Managing Director Andreas Lewerken is optimistic about IFA 2012: „Apple & Co. have become an integral part of today's world. On the contrary - supply and demand are growing, just like the trade fair. That's why we're already in talks for stand construction at IFA 2012.“

IFA 2011 - Get in touch

From September 2 to 7, 2011, 1,441 exhibitors (+1 percent) presented the latest from the booming consumer electronics market under the motto „Get in touch.“ on 140,200 square meters of exhibition space (+4 percent) to a total of 238,000 visitors (+3 percent). In 2010, the world of i-products and e-media was given a special exhibition area just for Apple products in the form of the „iZone“. IFA 2012 will take place from August 31 to September 5, 2012.
