Traumschueff PonTOM 12 2017 Traumschueff PonTOM 12 2017

Based on the proven PonTOM® Adventure Swimmers for Houseboats With an OpenG® aluminum frame, the Traumschüff travels through villages and towns along our rivers. This is how the comrades of the Traumschüff geG bring David Schellenberg Theater on the doorsteps (i.e., riverbanks) of people who otherwise have no access to theater. The Schüff—affectionately named „Comrade Rosi“ after the late grandmother of one of the founders—was developed in close collaboration with the Bauhaus University Weimar (wood construction) and the TU Berlin (electrical concept) and built in just four weeks. The first play on the „floating boards that mean the world“ is called „Bibergeil“ and was written especially for the region around the Havel and Oder rivers.

Two 25 hp Suzuki outboard motors propel the Schüff and its crew towards the next ports.
