With the Aline range by Andreas Störiko, Wilkhahn is setting a new standard in multi-purpose rooms and informal communication areas. The centrepiece is the skid-base chair, which is as coherent as it is innovative in design: the seat and backrest frame made of high-strength plastic and a delicate skid base made of bright chrome-plated round steel form a stable spatial grid with minimized material dimensions and low weight thanks to their ingenious design principle. The elasticity of the construction and the covering made of a transparent high-performance fabric in the same color, combined with the permanent rear ventilation, ensure a relaxed and comfortable sitting experience.
The special highlight: the seat and backrest frames of the skid-base chair, available in black, gray and white, are designed according to the „rail-skid principle“. This guarantees extremely compact, safe and form-fitting stacking - and protects the seat upholstery. Thanks to the integrated design, which is visually reduced to two materials, the Aline skid-base chair is suitable for restaurants as well as conference rooms, lecture halls, waiting rooms, customer halls or private areas.
