Verleihung Qualitätssiegel im Rahmen der ITB2013 IV Quality seal awarded at ITB2013 IV

On March 6, 2013, the ITB in Berlin, the world's largest travel trade fair, will start for the 47th time. For five days, 10,086 exhibitors from 188 countries will present their vacation and travel offers. Among them the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt. The trade fair presentation in Hall 11.2 begins on Wednesday with the traditional Saxony-Anhalt Day. From 2 p.m., the focus here will be on the Q Seal award ceremony and the Arthotel Kiebitzberg®. Hotel manager Renate Lewerken will receive the seal of the ServiceQualität initiative, one of the most important awards for businesses in the tourism and service industry in Germany, at the ITB.

And that just six months after the opening of the main building with Restaurant Schmokenberg. „Experience with our first guests has shown that they expect a higher level of quality, combined with individuality and personality,“ concludes Andreas Lewerken, founder of the Kiebitzberg® Group and initiator of the hotel project. „This is exactly what the name ArtHotel and the furnishings of our hotel stand for,“ confirms the experienced interior designer, who played a key role in shaping the architecture and design of the hotel.

„With the certification, we want to give our teamwork a strong foundation and ensure our service quality,“ says hotel manager Renate Lewerken, who, together with her team, received the certification in December 2012. Training as a „Quality Coach“ and achieved the quality seal level I after a thorough examination.

The ServiceQualität Deutschland initiative is supported by several institutions in Saxony-Anhalt: The Harz University of Applied Sciences is responsible for implementation and, together with the DEHOGA, is the inspection body. The Tourismusverband Sachsen-Anhalt e.V. acts as the coordinating body. Partners are the IHK Magdeburg, IHK Halle-Dessau and the IMG Saxony-Anhalt. The ServiceQualität project is funded by the European Social Fund and the state of Saxony-Anhalt as part of the Operational Program.
