The floods in June 2013 hit the Elbe-Havel region hard. After the dyke breached near Fischbeck on June 10, 2013, large areas in the hinterland were flooded and numerous livelihoods were washed away with them. All three Kiebitzberg® sites are located in Havelberg and were affected by the ecological impact.

But precisely because we got off lightly in our private and business lives, we are helping in many ways! For example, we organized the long-planned concert by the „Spinnesänger“ on June 21, 2013 at the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® as a Charity concertorganized. Fee, honorarium and the entire entrance fee for the event were paid into the Kiebitzberg® special donation account. And we are continuing! For example with the „Pedaling kilometers for flood victims“ in cooperation with the Tourismusverband Prignitz e. V.

As soon as the water slowly began to ebb and flow and the full extent of the material and emotional damage became apparent, we took up the cause: Keep sticking together! Because only if we stick together can we make a difference and quickly rebuild what has been destroyed in our region. We have asked for Support from our partners and suppliers and would like to express our sincere thanks to:

the Spinning singers from Trautenheim in the Harz Mountains, who donated their entire fee.

With a Donation account balance from 4.650,- € we distributed the money in equal parts to three affected families in Kamern on September 2, 2013. Read all the information about the Flood donation handover.
