On Wednesday, August 29, 2012, 2 p.m., the aluminum boat PonTOM® Defender (dimensions: 5.60 m width x 2.00 m length) was launched in Havelberg at the Kiebitzberg® shipyard. After a successful stacking lift in bright sunshine, the maiden voyage took place on the Havel. Astonished looks and a first „trial of strength“ included.
PonTOM® Defender: Sturdy aluminum boats in 7 sizes
With Boats made of aluminum we have opened a new chapter as a shipyard at the traditional Havelberg site. One with seven strong episodes. What is meant is: The PonTOM® Defender is available in 7 different sizes offered by 4.20 m length x 1.75 m Width up to 8.40 m lengthx 2.50 m width. Why? „We want to give our customers maximum freedom of choice and scope for design right from the start. That's why, during product development, we consistently focused on a Modular design set,“ emphasizes Florian Lewerken, head of the PonTOM® raft manufacture in Havelberg, the Advantages of the PonTOM® Defender aluminum boat family out. And: „The equipment leaves nothing to be desired. Our aluminum boats can be equipped with a wide range of optional accessories and add-on elements,“ adds Lewerken, who, together with his customers Handcrafted boats and always built with the purpose in mind.
Enjoy a great deal of freedom on the water! This is exactly what the new boat owners from Rathenow want to do with their new PonTOM® Defender 5.60. Measuring 5.60 m long x 2.00 m wide, the „spontaneous sunbathing and picnicking on the water with the family“ desired by customers is now possible in comfort. After an impressive first trip on the Havel, the aluminum boat was loaded onto the trailer in the direction of Rathenow, where it was moored at one of Kiebitzberg® jetty system is fixed.

All catamarans and houseboats from the PonTOM® raft factory in Havelberg are Quality products from Germany. You will Handcrafted as Individual production for private individuals and also in Series as a complete boat fleet for commercial providers, built to the highest safety requirements and the rules of the German Recreational Craft Ordinance. We deliver from the shipyard with accessories according to the customer's wishes: from the decking, to the railing or the mooring line, to the engine. The hull can also be individually adapted to special requirements.
Location Havelberg
The Cathedral and Hanseatic town of Havelberg, is halfway along the route between Hamburg and Berlin, 80 km north of Magdeburg, directly at the confluence of the Havel and Elbe rivers.
