In summer 2021, we were able to install a jetty for rowers, canoeists and water hikers for the Baltic Waterways and Shipping Office so that they can transport their boats from the Upper to the Lower Warnow in the partially filled lock. The jetty at the former Mühlendamm lock in Rostock is a 10 m long flat jetty with a freeboard height of 18 cm and a 14 m long access ramp that compensates for water level fluctuations.

The jetty is even equipped to cope with flooding, as in the event of flooding the facility can be pulled up the embankment under the bridge on the Unterwarnow using clamp-on wheels.

The jetty was made of seawater-resistant aluminum and covered with a non-slip GRP surface. The 10m-long jetties offer athletes plenty of space and good entry and exit options. By using our evaluated OpenG profile, further elements and additional components can be docked onto the jetty at a later date.

All jetties are manufactured by us in Havelberg at the Kiebitzberg shipyard.

We wish all users of the jetty a lot of fun and look forward to future joint projects.
