In March and April, the Hotel in Havelberg, the cathedral and island city between Hamburg and Berlin, invites its guests to a colorful mix of culinary events and boat tours on the Havel.
Cooking shows in Havelberg: experience the joy of cooking live
Cooking shows are booming, not a day goes by without a culinary program on TV. Today, more and more amateur chefs and gourmets want to be in the thick of it instead of just being there. This wish can now also be fulfilled in Havelberg. From 2012, the ArtHotel Kiebitzberg® once a month for a live cooking show with changing themes. „On March 16, a professional chef will take our guests on an exciting ‚rice journey‘, because rice is so much more than just a side dish,“ says Kiebitzberg® Managing Director Andreas Lewerken, introducing his guests to the 2nd live cooking show of the year. On April 20, the cooking spoon will be handed over to the children. In the ArtHotel children's cooking studio, it's time for the very young up-and-coming chefs to get to work.
Easter magic on and around the Havel: start of the boat charter season
On April 5, the Easter holidays are ushered in with a traditional Easter bonfire and delicacies from the barbecue. Three days later, on April 8, the 2012 boat charter season starts with the first tours on the Havel. On the PonTOM® Cabrio 14 with room for 10 people, a Tom Sawyer feeling and top service are guaranteed. The Water convertible is built in Havelberg and transforms into a 5.60 m x 3.70 m sun deck thanks to the flexibly sliding and translucent canopy. If a light spring rain suddenly sets in, you can enjoy the atmosphere well protected with the canopy closed. March 8: A day just for women
On International Women's Day, everything revolves around beauty from 2.30 pm. The price of €18.50 per person includes make-up advice from a professional (in small groups), a rose, a welcome drink, 2 pieces of cake and as much coffee as you like.
March 16: Cooking show „The rice is hot“
Professional chefs serve regional and international delicacies with rice in the Kiebitzberg® kitchen studio from 6.00 pm. The price of €49.00 per person includes a 3-course menu and matching drinks.
April 5: Traditional Easter bonfire
From 6 p.m., the ArtHotel will be holding its traditional Easter bonfire with musical entertainment, delicacies from the barbecue and various hot and cold drinks.
April 8: Easter magic on the Havel
The 2012 boat charter season on the Havel starts on the Easter weekend. The PonTOM® Cabrio 14 sets off on several round trips. There will be a snack and drinks on board. The price is € 32.00 per person.
April 20: Cooking for children with the „Kiebitz“
Children aged 6 to 10 years are invited to culinary adventures in the ArtHotel children's cooking studio „Kiebitz“ from 4.00 pm. Cooking and tasting typical regional dishes in a different way is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. The price per child is € 9.00.
