These were the key points of the 2007 Altmark Business Award, and Renate & Andreas Lewerken were awarded second place on the evening of November 2. During the event, Saxony-Anhalt State Premier Prof. Dr. Böhmer praised the visibly positive development of the Altmark region and thanked the entrepreneurs for their achievements. Guest speaker Prof. Dr. Biedenkopf spoke about the future of Germany, the shift in responsibilities in the intergenerational contract and the role of companies in facing up to these new challenges and examining their actions for „grandchild suitability“.

On the Monday after the ceremony, the employees of the Group also congratulated the two award winners.
