Havelberg (bma). Visitors were able to explore the Havel in the brand new „PonTOM® Cabrio 14“ on the occasion of the open day on Saturday at the Havelberg Kiebitzberg shipyard. Anyone who wanted to could also take a look behind the scenes at the shipyard and talk to the shipbuilding experts. Some of the visitors took the opportunity to take a look at the new passenger ship for Kazakhstan or the railroad wagon bridge that is currently being built at the shipyard. A historic railroad carriage is being converted into a bridge for a company in Frankfurt/a.M. and will connect two buildings in the future. A special highlight of the day was the christening of one of the eleven new „Adventure 7.40“ residential rafts for the Potsdam-based company Havelmeer. Owner Martin Schubert came to the shipyard with his wife Janine and son Leonhard for the occasion. The offspring of the family also took over the christening of the raft, which is now called „Leonard 2“. The shipyard also offered a boat show and a used boat market for interested parties. All in all, the shipyard counted many interested visitors on Saturday.
