In May 2020, the „Praxis Hautsache“ project was launched with a joint appointment at the Branch office at the Spinnerei in Leipzig. The aim was to create a complete Practice design with a coherent overall concept. Together with Dr. Isabell Marxsen, we developed individual room and route concepts for each room. The pathway concept was planned in such a way that doctors and patients can work together smoothly in everyday practice.
In addition to the classic questions of furnishing, we also looked after the questions of lighting concepts and Seating.
Dr. Marxsen attached great importance to a harmonious overall impression of her practice in the overall concept and the concept of formal language prevailed in every room of the practice. The dominant colors of the practice are white and gray, which are supported by accents in wood tones. The formal language of the design is characterized by its rounded shapes and modern design.
In the treatment rooms, we attached great importance to a minimalist design in order to offer the doctor and patient maximum freedom. We also developed mobile treatment cabinets for the patient couches especially for the practice. These cabinets can be easily pulled out from underneath the couch when required and immediately provide the doctor with all the necessary instruments and materials.
OR area
In addition to the treatment rooms, the practice also has an operating theater. This area has a Solid surface sluice for the medical devices. Even with the surfaces of their Treatment lines We also use solid surface material, which is perfect for the medical sector due to its high scratch resistance and good cleaning qualities.
In the entrance area of the practice, we placed a counter designed by Florian and Andreas Lewerken with a walk-in back cabinet. The logo of the practice is visible through backlighting in the solid surface material. The rounded shape of the counter and the checkroom guides the patient into the waiting area. We designed the seating with the brand Wilkhahn equipped.
For the lighting concept, we work with our regional partners from Wever & Ducre Mr. Haym from the wallpaper factory in Leipzig.
We are pleased to have successfully completed this project in May 2021 and wish Dr. Isabell Marxsen and her team many successful years in their newly established practice.
