In April 2022, we were able to build the passenger ferry for our Danish customer a passenger ferry as a Solar boat complete.

Special features of the 7m-long passenger ferry include the roof, which is fully equipped with solar cells, and the electric drive, which is largely powered by the aforementioned solar cells. The driver's cabin, which is closed on three sides and has a specially designed steering position, ensures a pleasant journey even on rainy days or days with heavy swell. The water-resistant upholstered benches offer space for up to 12 people and can also be used as storage space. The Defender's large footprint also allows bicycles to be carried. Another special feature are the railing elements specially designed by Kiebitzberg, which not only serve as fall protection but also provide a comfortable entry aid.

The PonTOM® Defender 7.0 has an optimal position in the water due to the design of the hull. The boat is made of seawater-resistant aluminum. Just like the passenger ferry, every PonTOM® Defender is manufactured by us in Havelberg according to customer specifications, which enables us to respond precisely to your wishes and requirements.
