SHIPYARD TRADITION FOR 300 YEARS
Since over 300 years ago the Brandenburg Elector for the construction of its seagoing fleet the first large shipyard in Havelberg, the shipbuilding tradition from the small Hanseatic city cannot be imagined without it.
After the shipyard was bought and rebuilt by Andreas Lewerke at the end of the 1990s, ships are once again being built in Havelberg - increasingly specializing in inland passenger ships - equipped with the latest electric propulsion and solar technologies.

For SolarCircleLine GmbH, we are supplying 2 passenger ships for the Berlin waterways in 2019/20. The 36.5m twin ships will be equipped with state-of-the-art electric drive and battery technology and will be made entirely of aluminum. Design by Andreas Lewerken.
